The Christmas Bazaar that this year is set up in the square of the Metropolitan Cathedral “God’s Birth” will be opened by a concert given by the Orchestra “Lăutarii” and Alex Calancea Band at 8pm on December 21, IPN reports.
During three weeks, concerts will be given on the weekend and on Christmas and New Year’s Eve. These will feature Valy Boghean, SunStroke Project, Nelly Ciobanu, Katharsis, and Anișoara Puică. The bazaar will end on January 10 with a draw.
Those who will visit the Great National Assembly Square could amuse themselves, have carousel rides, purchase presents for the dear ones and taste delicacies. Santa Clause will be waiting for children in his little house.
The bazaar will work daily from midday to 10pm, on nonworking days – between 10am and 10pm, while on New Year’s Eve until 2am.
The event is at its third edition and is organized by the Government of Moldova and the Chisinau City Hall.
