Laureates Gala of municipal contest «Ploaia de stele» took place in Chisinau

On music rhythms by Moldovan and world singers, 30 gifted children from the Chisinau municipality staged a performance on Sunday, May 11, within the sixth edition of the Laureates Gala of the «Ploaia de stele» (Star Rain) municipal contest, Info-Prim Neo reports. According tot he deputy director of the Municipal Education and Youth Direction, Valentina Cujba, «Ploaia de stele» pursues to promote gifted children, to cultivate an exquisite aesthetical taste, but also the national values. Already spoiled by the public, these children made big efforts and sacrifices to perform in a singing majesty, created by themselves, Valentina Cujba specified. A big screen showed the key moments of the young soloists' careers. The initial stage of the contest took place in the capital's sectors, joined by over 400 singers under 19. The most gifted 30 children were selected as laureates of the contest. The winners got diplomas and pecuniary prizes worth 150-200 lei each.
