Last night’s storm left without electricity many localities

Many localities were left without electric power due to these days’ heavy rain and strong wind. According to the head of the Press Service of the Exceptional Situations Department, Alexandru Oprea, the showers, accompanied by strong wind and thunder, left without electric power many localities of the central and southern Moldova. So, by Tuesday morning at 7:00, some zones of the towns Vatra and Sangera of Chisinau municipality, the villages Ratus and Drasliceni, Criuleni, Acui, Enichioi, Bobotica, Cantemir, Bardar, Suruceni, Nimoreni, Malcoci, Costesti, Rusestii Noi, Pojareni and partly Ialoveni, Lucaseuca, Seliste, Isacova and Orhei town still lacked electricity. At the moment, the employees of the Central and Northern Electric Lines perform re-establishment works of the electric power supply in the localities affected by the storm.
