Election campaigning is strictly forbidden on election day and the day preceding it. Thus, today, November 1, is the last day on which electoral campaigning is allowed, IPN reports.
The Central Election Commission warns that on the day of the election and the day before, it is not allowed to carry out or to reflect activities and materials with political campaigning intent. The appearance of the elections candidates on television or radio programs is also prohibited. Electoral contenders cannot make transfers to / from the "Electoral fund" account.
The continuation of electoral campaigning during the mentioned days by the media, electoral competitors and citizens constitutes an administrative contravention and is sanctioned with a fine from 15 to 30 conventional units for individuals and from 35 to 50 conventional units for persons in leading positions or for the electoral contenders.
