The traditional school year end festivity in schools will be staged on May 31. In the education institutions of Chisinau municipality, the festivities start at 8:30am. From June 1, most of the students will be on vacation, while the ninth and twelfth graduates will be involved in the examination session, IPN reports.
In the May 30 meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, the head of the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb said the graduation exams start on June 2. On this day, the ninth graders speaking other languages than Romanian will take the exam in the Romanian language and literature the first. On June 3, the twelfth graders speaking other languages than Romania will sit the first Baccalaureate exam, also in the Romanian language and literature.
According to Tatiana Nagnibeda-Tverdohleb, a number of activities intended for children, including artistic programs and masterclasses, will be held in Chisinau on June 1, on the International Children’s Day. The events will be organized by the municipality in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the National Children’s and Youth Center “Artico”.
The Division’s head also said that the municipal day summer camps at education institutions start work this week.
