The works on the application that enables to see in real time the location of public transport units in the municipality of Chisinau are close to completion. Spokesman for the Chisinau Electric Transport Company Felicia Rusu has told IPN that the launch was arranged for this month.
The project is new and does not imply the company that had a similar initiative several years ago. The last adjustments to the application are now being made.
Vitalie Mihalache, head of the General Urban Mobility Division, said the application can be already accessed, but tests and adjustments are yet needed before the launch. The procedure for purchasing GPS services was launched a year ago and the process of integrating these into a common program followed.
The mobile application “Tranzy” is free and can be downloaded both onto Android and iOS mobile operating systems.
