The largest pension in Moldova is almost 225,000 lei ($12,900) and is collected monthly by an insuree who has previously worked in the financial & banking sector.
Iurie Reniţă, ACUM bloc MP, Platform DA, published this information on Facebook. The MP learned about this after requesting information from the National Social Insurance Company CNAS.
"It is incredible how it is possible to receive a huge pension given that we live in Europe’s poorest country", the MP wrote.
According to CNAS data, over 350 people collect monthly pensions between 20,000 and 100,000 lei. Four people collected pensions that exceeded 100,000 lei.
