A furniture factory in Comrat was engulfed in flames today, and it took nine fire engines more than three hours to put out the blaze, IPN reports.
According to the Emergencies Inspectorate, an 112 call was placed at around 10AM. Firefighters from Comrat and the relatively close towns of Ceadir Lunga and Cimislia were deployed to respond. Before the crews could arrive, the fire had already destroyed about one thousand square meters of a warehouse with materials used in furniture manufacturing.
The blaze was contained after an hour and completely put out by 1:30PM. No one was hurt in the fire.
