The commune of Lapusna in Hincesti district will hold a snap election to elect is mayor on November 19, after the Central Election Commission today gave is formal approval, IPN reports.
CEC deputy chairwoman Rodica Ciubotaru said the snap election will be held after the former mayor Gheorghe Chirila resigned.
On November 19 snap mayoral elections will also be held in the villages Fundurii Noi in Glodeni, Stefanesti in Floresti, Plopi in Cantemir, Sarateni in Leova, and Ghiliceni in Telenesti.
