The Land Cadaster will be digital and will be accessible to all the citizens of the country. The new system will ensure a record of the agricultural land, eliminating statistical gaps and providing quick access to essential information. The Cabinet on Wednesday approved the regulations on the functioning of the information system, IPN reports.
Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Ludmila Catlabuga said that the new information system is an essential tool for modernizing and digitizing the data on the country's agricultural land.
"Citizens and economic agents will benefit from simplified access to information about the agricultural land, soil quality for planning a business in agriculture," noted the minister.
The system will be managed by the National Agency for Land Improvements and mayor’s offices, being interconnected with other state registers for swift exchange of data.
