Labor Union “Patria-Rodina” quits race, throws support to AMN

The Labor Union “Patria-Rodina” Party pulls out of the electoral race and urges all the party members, supporters and other persons to vote for the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) on April 5, 2009, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We support AMN owing to its democratic path, force and influence of the local organizations and because the party led by Serafim Urecheanu did not make compromises with the Communist Government,” Gheorghe Sima, president of the Labor Union “Patria-Rodina”, said at a news conference on Friday, April 3. The party said it did not hold talks with the AMN and made the decision independently.
