May 8, June 2 and September 1 in 2017 could be declared nonworking days for which the budget-funded employees would work on other days. A bill to this effect was proposed for debates by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, IPN reports.

Instead, May 13, June 10 and September 9 will be declared working days.

The salary-earners who will not be involved in labor relations, those whose individual work contracts will be suspended or will be on leave on the days declared nonworking will not obliged to present themselves at the workplace on the days of Saturday that will be declared working days.
