Constituency No. 25: Chisinau municipality consists of a part of Botanica district and a part of Centru district. The electors there will vote at polling places No. 25/1-25/31. The candidate who wins the largest number of votes in a single-member constituency, regardless of the voter turnout, emerges victorious.
The Democratic Party’s candidate, current MP Victor Mîndru, a master of international relations, tops the list of candidates. Earlier, he was a member of the Party of Communists. He also held the posts of first deputy head of the National House of Social Insurance, head of the Chisinau Local Office of the State Chancellery and deputy minister of health and social protection. For the last two years, Victor Mîndru declared over 234,000 lei salary revenues and more than 143,000 lei and US$ 1,400 in bank accounts. The candidate also earned 179,000 lei in allowances of MP and pension. He owns two apartments and a car.
The Party of Socialists’ candidate Alexandru Odintsov, a politologist by profession, is under No. 2. Since 2015, he has served on the Chisinau Municipal Council, being a member of the commission for constructions, architecture and land relations. For the last two years, Alexandru Odintsov declared over 12,000 lei earned from SRL “Licha” in 2018, 120,000 lei as a donation, more than 36,000 lei allowances for taking part in the meetings of the CMC and over 9,000 lei from the National House of Social Insurance. The candidate owns a part of an apartment and a car.
The third spot on the ballot is taken by the candidate of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS Inga Grigoriu, a bachelor of dramatic arts. She is the vice president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” and heads the association for democracy development “Decid”. For the last two years, Inga Grigoriu declared over 38,.000 lei revenues and more than 78,000 lei from intellectual property rights. He owns four piece of farmland, a building lot, a finished house and an unfinished house.
The Shor Party’s candidate Dumitru Chitoraga, a journalist by profession, comes fourth. The candidate, 35, is the director of SRL “Media Resurse” that owns the TV channels “Orhei TV” and “Televiziunea Centrală”. Earlier, he worked as a sports commentator at the public TV channel “Moldova 1”. In July 2018, Dumitru Chitoroaga was named the Shor Party’s representative in Chisinau municipality. For the last two years, the candidate declared over 250,000 lei salary and almost 96,000 lei dividends from a farm. He owns over 20 pieces of farmland and other categories of land and two cars.
