Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis plans to pay a working visit to Chisinau, IPN reports.
The head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ana Taban said that as a result of the February 4 meeting of the Romanian head of state and Moldova’s Ambassador in Bucharest Iurie Renita, the Ministry was informed officially that Klaus Iohannis intends to visit Moldova on February 24-25.
The Romanian President will have meetings with his Moldovan counterpart, the Prime Minister and the leaders of the parliamentary groups.
Contacted by IPN, the Moldovan President’s spokesman Vlad Turcanu said that Nicolae Timofti had a telephone conversation with Klaus Iohannis, but they didn’t agree the exact date of the visit to Chisinau.
