All the kindergartens in Chisinau on Wednesday will start to be connected to the heat supply. A decision to this effect was taken by the General Division of Education. Youth and Sport together with the Chisinau City Hall, IPN reports.
“After examining the situation in rooms in kindergartens in the municipality of Chisinau, it was established that the average temperature in rooms in 129 preschools is 15.4 degrees Celsius. Also, 89 of the 129 preschools asked to be connected to the heat supply,” noted the Division.
As regards the primary and secondary educational institutions, these will be supplied with heat upon the request of principals. No such requests have been received by the Division so far.
Usually, the primary and secondary educational institutions are connected to the heat supply after the fall recess, at the request of directors. The autumn school recess this year was scheduled for October 26-30.
