The children who go to kindergartens in Chisinau and those from primary classes will learn to eat healthily. The General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau, in partnership with two companies, initiated the project “Healthy children, happy parents!”. The first two training sessions were held at Kindergarten-Crèche  No. 40 of Chisinau municipality.

The kindergarten’s director Maria Cristofor has told IPN that the course is welcome because in some situations the parents feed their children at home less healthily. Nutritionists teach the children what impact a particular food product can have on them. After these classes, the children will  accept to eat more fruit and vegetables.

A number of 127 children were involved in the activity, including from Russian groups.

The lessons will continue in all the early education institutions. The children will be recommended to practice sport and not to eat candies and unhealthy fast food.
