Kalman Mizsei: Moldova will become attractive to Transnistria when social and economic stability is guaranteed

Moldova’s territorial reintegration will be attained if the authorities in Chisinau focus their efforts on resolving the country’s problems of social and economic nature, considers EU Special Representative to Moldova Kalman Mizsei, Info-Prim Neo reports, citing the Government’s press service. At a recent meeting, the EU official and Moldovan PM Zinaida Greceanii discussed the recent developments in the process of settling the Transnistrian issue, as well as Moldova’s European integration process. The collocutors have agreed that the resolution of economic and financial problems will contribute much to Moldova’s territorial reintegration. Kalman Mizsei reiterated the readiness of the European institutions to make efforts to this end. At the same time, Zinaida Greceanii reconfirmed the Government’s resolute intention to take the necessary steps in order to implement the confidence-building measures between Chisinau and Tiraspol. According to the premier, all the joint actions made by both parties must have a direct positive impact on the citizens.
