The Ministry of Justice confirmed that there is no political party with the name “The Right” in the Register of Political Parties of Moldova and thus this name was registered, IPN reports.
“The Ministry of Justice was asked to verify the name of the eventual party. Each citizen of the Republic of Moldova has this right,” said sources in the Ministry.
The decision to form a new party in Moldova was taken on September 5. The initiative was put forward by several former MPs and ministers who formed part of the Liberal Party and the Liberal Reformist Party. The party will aim to reunite the Romanian nation by juridical-political, economic, military, diplomatic and social reunification of Moldova and Romania. The announcement was made by Ana Gutu, one of the initiators of the creation of this party, on a social networking site.
