The International Day for Protection of Children, marked on June 1, will be celebrated in Chisinau by songs, dances and other recreational activities. On the occasion of this holiday, the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport will stage asphalt drawing contests, experiments with explosive rockets made by children, and exhibitions with works made within the municipal contest “Young Plastic Artist” in the central park of Chisinau (Public Garden), IPN reports.
The entertaining concert “How good is to be child” will be given in the Public Garden of Chisinau starting at 10am. It will be followed by an asphalt drawing contest entitled “Smile of child” between 12 noon and 2pm. In the same period of time, there will be held technical-applicative competitions. The program will end with a recital by Costi Burlacu and Corina Tepes.
Recreational activities will be also staged in the districts of Chisinau: in the park in Rascani (10am – 12 noon); at the Exhibition Center “Moldexpo” (11am – 3pm); in front of the “Unic” Store (starting at 11:30am); at the Education, Youth and Sport Division in Ciocana (starting at 10am), and in the Park “Valea trandafirilor” in Botanica (starting at 3pm).
More than 1,000 children, who under the supervision of the local guardianship authorities of Chisinau, will visit the Zoological Garden.
