The Central Election Commission (CEC) on July 6 confirmed the last observers for overseeing the snap parliamentary elections of July 11. This Sunday’s elections will be monitored by 2,436 accredited observers, IPN reports.
Of these, 1,800 national observers represent six public associations of the Republic of Moldova. The elections will be overseen by 636 international observers who represent 17 embassies working in Moldova, 30 international electoral experts representing 11 foreign electoral authorities and 606 representatives of 14 international organizations.
