Judges’ income statements will be published on Supreme Council of Magistrates’ website

The statements of income and property of Moldovan judges will be posted on the official website of the Supreme Council of Magistrates, Info-Prim Neo reports. On April 10, the Parliament introduced amendments to the law on the declaration and control of the incomes and property of dignitaries, judges, prosecutors, civil servants. Under the amendments, within ten days of the deadline for presenting the statements of income and property, the Central Control Commission will submit the copies of judges’ statements to the Supreme Council of Magistrates to be published on its website. The law will take effect on July 1, 2008.
