President Nicolae Timofti signed a presidential decree to discharge Vasile Selevestru from the post of judge of the Orhei Court in connection with disciplinary deviations committed by him, IPN has learned from the presidential press service.
In April, the Supreme Council of Magistrates rejected the judge’s resignation. A number of disciplinary proceedings were instituted against Vasile Selevestru.
Earlier, a person filed a complaint to the Center for Human Rights, saying the judge delays the examination of his case that was submitted to the Orhei Court over a year ago. No hearing was held in the period.
