President Nicolae Timofti discharged Elena Roibu, who was sentenced to eight years in jail for acts of corruptions, from the post of judge of the Criuleni Court, IPN reports.
The sentence was passed by the general court of law in June 2014 and was upheld by the Appeals Court. The judge, who asked for €2,000 for acquitting two offenders, was put on the wanted list.
By another presidential decree, Grigore Botnaru was dismissed from the post of judge of the Straseni Court, based on his resignation.
