The High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, Vice-President of the European Commission, arrived at the Mimi Castle in Bulboaca where the EPC Summit is held today. The official expressed his regret at the news of a new attack staged on Kyiv in Ukraine, as a result of which at least three persons, two of whom are children, died, IPN reports.
The official said the key issues on the agenda should include the restoration of peace and security. For the purpose, increased unity is needed not only at EU level, but all over the world.
Referring to Moldova’s EU integration perspective, Josep Borrell said Moldova should continue doing reforms and making effort to settle the Transnistrian conflict. “Cyprus became a member of the European Union while having a territorial problem. Moldova can also do it,” stated the European official.
