The joint meetings of the governments of certain countries represented a useful and efficient exercise, Prime Minister Vlad Filat said in connection with the meeting of the Governments of Moldova and Romania that is to take place in Iasi on March 3, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Premier, there will be signed a number of documents that will contribute to developing the cooperation relations between the two states in a number of areas. They agreed to sign eight documents, but the agenda is to be extended.
“Germany and France had 14 joint meetings in 2003. Russia had such meetings with Italy, while Romania with Hungary and Bulgaria. These meetings are a very good platform for identifying problems and solutions to them,” said Vlad Filat.
He also said that he explored the possibility of holding a joint meeting with Ukraine. The next meeting with the Government of Romania will take place in Moldova - in Ungheni or in Chisinau.
