Joint meeting of Governments of Moldova and Romania to be held at start of 2022

A joint meeting of the Governments of the Republic of Moldova and Romania will take place at the beginning of next year. The place of the meeting hasn’t been yet announced. Organizational aspects were discussed by Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița and her Romanian counterpart Nicolae Ciucă during a Moldovan delegation’s official visit to Bucharest, IPN reports.

According to the press service of the Government of the Republic of Moldova, Natalia Gavrlița is visiting the capital of Romania at the invitation of her Romanian counterpart.

The officials were to also discuss opportunities for fostering the political dialogue for implementing the roadmap for the priority areas of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania. At 11.35pm, the two Premiers will make statements for the press.

Premier Gavrilița’s visit will continue at the Palace of the Parliament where she will meet with the President of the Senate Florin-Vasile Cîțu and the President of the Chamber of Deputies Marcel Ciolacu.

Later, the Moldovan delegation will go to the Cotroceni Palace where it will be welcomed by the President of Romania Klaus Werner Iohannis.

Two weeks ago, an official visit to Romania was paid by the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu. The aforementioned roadmap was signed during this visit.
