Moldova’s delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC) said a Transnistrian border guards post was established near Pohrebea village instead of the militia post, IPN reports, quoting the Reintegration Policies Bureau.

In the past, a similar post worked in Pohrebea, but following the efforts made by Moldova’s delegation, the problem was solved on February 16, 2012, when the JCC decided to remove the border guards post and the control was made the responsibility of the police and militia bodies.

Even if both the delegation of Transnistria and that of the Russian Federation agreed that the subject should be discussed, they refused to include the problem in the agenda of the May 23 meeting of the JCC, said Moldova’s delegation.

A similar case of violation of the regime in the Security Zone is the presence of military equipment and representatives of different military entities at the forum “Tiras-2019” that was held in Mereneşti, a suburban settlement of Bender town where there is an increased security regime.
