Jaywalker dies on Friday in a traffic accident

A woman died on Friday in Chisinau in a severe car accident. According to the Road Police from Chisinau, the accident took place on Calea Iesilor Street. A 49 years old woman jaywalked street at about 80 metres from the zebra. As consequence a Volkswagen-Transporter hit her. Because of the severe traumas the women died immediately. Another jaywalker of 39 years was hit by a ZIL-130 truck on the Uzinelor Street. The man was transported at the Hospital, having a brain concussion, multiple wounds and bruises on the chest. The impact between a Volga and a Daewoo caused the trauma of a woman; as a result she suffered a brain concussion. With acute trauma two men of 20 and 22 years old were hospitalized, passengers of a BMW that was involved in a car accident near the Peresecina village, Orhei. On Friday, The Road Police from the city registered 3 car accidents in which two persons were killed and other two were traumatized.
