The Japanese dance company Kanazawa Butoh Kan will present the performance “Thunder late in autumn” at “Eugene Ionesco” Theater in Chisinau on June 4, within the Japanese Culture Days in the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

In a news conference on June 3, Moe (Toshio) Yamanato, the dance show’s director and main choreographer of the troupe, said the performance is built on the idea that the people will never give up making others recognize their existence. “Depending on the circumstances, the people change the way of expressing themselves so as to transmit their feelings,” said the director. The show is based on sentiments and experiences from the director’s personal life.

The performance starts at 7pm. It will be subtitled in Romanian and Russian.

The Japanese Culture Days in Moldova are organized by “Eugene Ionesco” Theater with the support of the Government, in partnership with the Foundation for Moldovan-Japanese Relations and the Moldovan-Japanese Association for Culture and Civilization. They are taking place between June 1 and 9.
