The ambassador encouraged the continuation of the European path of the Republic of Moldova, as well as maintaining good relations with the external partners. “The Republic of Moldova needs international assistance. We are ready to support the Government's efforts in the justice reform process, but also in the development of the economy, education, health and agriculture”, said Masanobu Yoshii.
In his turn, the chief of the executive spoke about the Government's commitment to continue the actions pertaining to the European integration vector, as well as to the successful completion of all the initiated reforms. "So far, we have taken concrete steps in the field of justice reform. As for the economy area, the priority for us is the approval of the budgetary-fiscal projects and the massive investments in infrastructure. We cannot move forward and we cannot attract private investment in our country without independent justice and without good roads,” stressed Ion Chicu.
The prime minister thanked the Japanese state for its support over time, but also for the friendly relations between the two countries, which have intensified lately.
