Japan will provide a grant for the delivery of medical equipment as part of the economic and social development program to the Republic of Moldova. The draft agreement that will be concluded by exchange of notes was approved by the executive, IPN reports.
Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbrăveanu said the agreement will contribute to strengthening the medical system and improving the services provided by this to the people.
The grant is estimated at 100 million yen (€800,000).
For the negotiation of the grant agreement, the Government designated an official delegation consisting of responsible persons of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. The delegation will be headed by Alexandru Holostenco, secretary of state at the Ministry of Health.
