Japan has new military attaché for Moldova

Japan’s new military attaché for Moldova based in Kiev, Commander Akihiro Hara, was presented to the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Defense Aurel Fondos, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry.

Aurel Fondos congratulated the military diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in his new post. He informed Commander Hara about the activities performed by the Ministry of Defense, including the working out of strategic documents, training and social projects, the participation by the National Army in peacekeeping operations and the reform initiated by the Ministry’s administration.

For his part, Akihiro Hara said he is honored to hold the post of military attaché for Moldova, noting he will make effort to develop a partnership that will be beneficial to both of the armies.
