IV-th edition of the Festival "Piano Nights in Moldova" held in Chisinau

Three extraordinary concerts in Chisinau and one in Balti, with the participation of well-known piano soloists from France, Moldova, Romania, will be held within the IV-th edition of the International Festival for piano and orchestra "Piano nights in Moldova". The festival will be held on June 27 - July 7 and will be supported by the National Chamber Orchestra of RM.
According to the director of the French Alliance of Moldova, Olivier Jacquot, the program includes exceptional works of composers from France, Russia, and Germany. The festival will start on 27 June, at 19.00, at the Organ Hall, with Russian music performance, signed by Serghei Rahmaninov and Piotr Ilici Ceaikovski perforemed by Alina Andronic (Romania), Ecaterina Baranov (RM) and Laura Favre-Kahn (France).
On Friday, 30 June, Jean Marc Luisada (France), Maria Sumarev (RM) and Horia Mihail (Romania) will perform on the same stage, accompanied by the National Chamber Orchestra directed by the conductor of France, Didier Talpain. There will be performed that evening German pre-romantic and romantic concerts, signed by Ludwig van Beethoven and Schumann.
During the closing performance 2005-2006 of the Organ Hall, on Tuesday, 4 July, the second show of German pre-romantic and romantic works will be performed by Andrei Licaret (Romania), François Pinel and Michel Dalberto (France).
The music of Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Mozart will be performed on Friday, 7 July, at the National Theatre of Balti. Serghei Constantinov, Stanislav Jar (RM), as well as a piano player from France, unknown for the moment, will also perform.
The festival is organized by the French Alliance and French Embassy, in cooperation with the French channel TV5Monde, "Lafarge" company and the Organ Hall, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of RM and companies „Natur Bravo”, „Glass Container Company”, and „Voxtel”.
