“It is the most difficult question that is put to a politician,” Iurie Rosca said when asked what he voted for this morning. The president of the Christian Democratic People’s Party (PPCD) answered yet that he voted for changes for the better, stability and a Parliament that will include statesmen, not only politicians. He also voted for European integration and for a successful Moldova. Iurie Rosca expressed his confidence that he would pass the election threshold, saying that the polls about voters’ choices were falsified. The PPCD president considers there will be obtained a functional majority so that Moldova does not experience a political or other kind or crisis. Rosca came to vote accompanied by his wife and younger daughter. The PPCD leader voted at the polling place No. 124 situated in School No. 41 on George Meniuc Street. 5% of the registered voters marked their ballots at the given polling place until Iuries Rosca came. During the 2005 legislative elections, Rosca said that he voted for democracy, reforms and the country’s reorientation to the European Union as well as for Moldova’s independence and territorial unity, the municipal agency Info-Prim reported then.
