Iurie Osipenco takes over Speranța

Iurie Osipenco is the new coach of Speranţa Nisporeni. The 45-year-old trainer replaced Cristian Efros, IPN reports.

“I’m thirsty for work as I haven’t trained for two years. I want to ensure high performance at Speranța,” Iurie Osipenco stated for a TV channel.

The last time Osipenco trained Zimbru, which he left in December 2017. He also trained the teams Rapid Ghidighici, the national Under 19 football team of Moldova, Milsami Orhei and Petrocub Hîncești. Alongside Milsami, Osipenco became champion in 2015, when he was also named the best coach of Moldova.

The new season of the National Division starts on March 13. It is not yet known how many teams will become involved in this.
