The Opposition party, the Communists Party (PCRM), says that the people want early elections as they see no future with the present government in power. It also says that the date when the elections will take place does not matter as it is sure it will secure a good result. Related statements were made for Info-Prim Neo by Communist MP Iurie Muntean. Communist MP Mark Tkachuk also spoke about the PCRM's preparations for early elections. He told the reporters that the party started the preparations after the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin returned from the winter vacation that he spent abroad. “We continue working with the voters. All the steps taken by the PCRM will depend on our voters' wishes that were neglected by the present government. Our supporters do not consider that they have a future together with the present administration that destroys everything,” Iurie Muntean said. Muntean also said the PCRM does not consider that the new elections will lead to the impoverishment of the population. “The situation is already dangerous and the Alliance for European Integration is to blame for this,” Iurie Muntean said. Asked when they want the early elections to take place, Iurie Muntean said that the period for the PCRM does not matter. “They are the ones that decide. Our position is neglected,” the MP said. The PCRM hopes to obtain good results in elections. “We do not believe the analysts or surveys conducted by order that say the PCRM's rating is diminishing. We trust our supporters with whom we communicate every day,” Munteanu said.
