Prime Minister Iurie Leanca said there are all the chances for the government coalition to be kept after the November 30 parliamentary elections and he would like the composition of the current Cabinet to be also kept. The Premier made such statements in a program on RTR Moldova channel on Friday evening, IPN reports.
Iurie Leanca stated that he is satisfied with the work of the Cabinet, noting that there is a balance in decision making. His inferiors are professionals, but he asked the ministers to leave their political ambitions aside in the election campaign and to focus on team work for the country’s benefit.
The Prime Minister underlined that the party he represents will form a coalition with the parties of the right after the elections and a coalition with parties of the left is excluded. “It’s hard to understand them. The Communists not only once changed the external development course. The same refers to Igor Dodon, who not long ago pleaded actively for the Association Agreement and the European integration,” he said.
As to the relations with Russia, Iurie Leanca said he is not at all satisfied. “There is no communication and dialogue with Russia. And it’s not our blame. In 2009, when the current government came to power, we declared that the European integration is our goal. At the beginning, there was a constrictive dialogue with the Russian side. Regretfully, we were involved in a geopolitical game where we are just a small part in the mechanism of this game,” he stated.
