The removal of the Government in times of crises is inacceptable, but if this Government cannot cope with the situation and does not make progress, it can be dismissed. Moreover, those who remove the Government are responsible for the appointment of the future Government, Romanian foreign policy analyst Iulian Chifu was quoted by IPN as saying in the talk show “Black Box” on TV8 channel.

“The one that comes, proposes and dismisses this Government should have the solution for the future Government or they will bear responsibility for leaving the Republic of Moldova without a Government amid the pandemic. The connection between the leaving of the current Government and the arrival of a new, better Government is mandatory. On the other hand, no one will endeavor to appoint a three-day Government. Forming a Government and gathering votes according to the principle “they will probably vote” is not serious. This is not serious for any of Moldova’s foreign partners. A Government formed by a conjunctural majority is not sustainable,” stated Iulian Chifu.

Lawyer Ștefan Gligor noted the formation of a government in the current context is a difficult exercise. “Where will you find votes without Shor and without a multitude of turncoats for an upright Government?” he asked.

Besides, Ștefan Gligor said dissentions exist not only inside the Democratic Party, but also inside the Socialist parliamentary group.

“Igor Dodon suffered a number of image blows and defeats. He is in a very default situation. There are internal dissentions not only in the PDM from which a number of members defected. Respectively, amid party switching, we cannot be sure of the proposed scenarios,” he stated.

Former MP Vadim Pistrinciuc said much more important things could be hidden behind those scenarios. “No one wants to vote with others as they lose their identity. I fear we could lose something more important while discussing scenarios. We currently witness declines in all the administration areas,” he noted.
