The Chisinau councilors unanimously voted in favor of reexamining the items included in the agenda of the October 24 meeting of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC). The decision was taken after the Communist and Socialist councilors’ initiative concerning the dismissal of Mayor General of Chisinau municipality Dorin Chirtoaca failed, IPN reports.
CMC secretary Valeriu Didencu said that the leaders of the Council’s factions will hold a meeting on October 25 to agree the subsequent matters that will be discussed and the date of the next meeting. According to Valeriu Didencu, the next meeting of the CMC may take place on October 31 or November 1.
The Chisinau councilors receive by 2,000 lei for every attended meeting.
