Moldovan citizens who are currently in, transiting through, or planning to travel to Italy are urged to postpone non-essential trips, particularly to the regions of Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, and Marche, from February 14 to 16. The advisory follows the issuance of an orange alert for severe weather conditions by Italy’s Department of Civil Protection, IPN reports.
The warning targets central Italian regions. Elba Island is experiencing heavy rainfall and flooding in several localities. Local authorities have activated emergency measures and recommend avoiding travel to affected areas.
