The Association Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Moldova was ratified by the remaining 28th EU member state. On November 26, Italy ratified the accord following the example of Greece, which did it on November 18, IPN reports.
The Association Agreement will fully take effect in two months of the submission of the instrument of ratification by the last two states that ratified it – Italy and Greece - to the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU (to inform Brussels about it).
The accord started to be provisionally implemented on September 1, 2014.
