The Italian police have arrested Ala Cioban, the sister of Tatiana Cioban – the woman who disappeared in late May together with her 14-year-old daughter Elena – on suspicion of complicity in the murder of her sister and her niece. The police believe Tatiana and Elena were murdered and their bodies were later hidden by a man named Paolo Esposito, Tatiana's boyfriend. Esposito, 44, is also in police custody, Info-Prim Neo learned from the on-line edition of the Italian daily La Nazione. Ala, 24, is employed in a Santa Fiora home to take care of an 83-year-old woman and on her days off she was often seen in Gradoli, the town where the double murder supposedly took place. Esposito and Ala confessed during police interrogation they had had an affair, but it ended 4 years ago. However, witnesses alleged they saw them together often lately, including on the day when Tatiana and Elena disappeared in Gradoli. The police say they also have two mobile phones, allegedly used by the suspects in this period to communicate with each other.
