Between October 21-27, under the high patronage of the President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the 19th edition of the Italian Language Week in the World is being held. On this occasion, the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Moldova carries out a series of activities in Chisinau, in collaboration with the schools and universities teaching the Italian language, IPN reports.
This year the Italian Language Week is dedicated to the "Italian language on stage", envisaging over one thousand events in about one hundred countries around the world. As in previous years, the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Moldova will promote this Week through a series of activities. They will be held at the "Dante Alighieri" High School, where this language has been taught since 1991, as well as at "Mihail Berezovschi" High School.
Moreover, activities will be organized at the State University of Moldova, "Ion Creangă" State Pedagogical University and Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts.
Italian flutist Giovanni Mugnuolo will give a concert at the Organ Hall on Thursday, October 24. The book on the "Tour of Italy in 14 Stages - Italian language course for Romanian speakers" will be presented on Friday, October 25, at the National Library.
In a Facebook post, Ambassador of Italy in Chisinau Valeria Biagiotti has urged all those who are interested to participate in the events organized during the Italian Language Week in Moldova.
