From November 25, the national carrier Air Moldova will operate 19 flights a week from Moldova to Italy and back. This became possible after it signed a code sharing cooperation agreement with the Italian operator Meridiana Fly, IPN reports, quoting the information published on the website of Air Moldova.

A code sharing agreement means that the flight is operated by one company in the name of several companies. The lowest price of a one-way ticket to Italy, with all taxes included, will be €79. The cheapest tickets can be purchased online on the company’s website and from the offices of Air Moldova or from authorized travel agencies in Moldova and abroad.

On December 9, Air Moldova will reopen a direct flight to Venice. It will be operated twice a week, every Monday and Friday. The price of a one-way ticket, with all taxes included, will be minimum €79.

From December 9, the number of weekly flights to and from Italy will rise to 21.
