A 75-year-old man from Israel, who was sentenced in his country to 42 years in prison for rape, sexual harassment and indecent deeds while holding a public post, was arrested in Moldova. He had been hiding here for eight years with false identification papers, IPN reports.
According to the police, the man will appear before judges for having the international warrant for his arrest confirmed. Later, he will be extradited to Israel to serve his sentence.
