Broken extractor hoods, welded saucepans and thin frying pans, some that don’t even fit on a stove, have been found across eight kindergartens across the capital’s Ciocana district. Acting Mayor Ruslan Condreanu communicated this information during an operative meeting at the City Hall, tells IPN.

Ruslan Codreanu said that the irregularities have been identified during facility inspections. According to sanitary norms, the saucepans must be made out of singular primary material and cannot be welded under any circumstances.

“A cook said that the extractor hoods are mere placeholders, since they stop working at temperatures above 35-40 degrees,” mentioned Ruslan Codreanu. The acting mayor instructed the General Directorate of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports to submit an information memo concerning the persons responsible for related procurements.
