Inspectors of the State Tax Service of Moldova identified a number of irregularities in the procurement of law material. They were either performed in the name of dead persons or by illegally using personal data of other persons, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the State Tax Service, the intermediary companies and those from the food industry continue to buy raw material from private individuals registered as entrepreneurs. The transactions are performed with cash and this leads to tax evasion and falsification of documents. The State Main Tax Inspectorate head Ion Prisacaru said the agricultural law material bought from private individuals is used by companies for processing (to produce juices, wine, oil) or directly for export.
In the same connection, Ion Prisacaru instructed analyzing all the problems existing in this area. Based on this case study, the State Main Tax Inspectorate will launch an awareness-raising and training campaign intended for private individuals and legal entities with a view to discouraging tax evasion.
