The first session of the current Parliament saw a number of achievements, such as the sense of fear within society has dissipated, foreign funding has been unfrozen, and a package of important laws have been adopted. This is how the results are described by representatives of the parliamentary majority. At the same time, the representative of the opposition says he only sees chaos and the lack of a clear program focused on addressing people’s problems. The opinions were expressed at a public debate titled “Summing up the first session of the new Parliament: the good and the bad”, organized by IPN and Radio Moldova.

IPN’s Valeriu Vasilică writes in an opinion piece “Last week's extraordinary meeting of Parliament ended with messages issued by representatives of almost all parliamentary groups. Viorel Chetraru told IPN that Sorin Stati's allegations that he had put pressure on him to transfer the MoldAtsa accounts to Unibank, a financial institution involved in the bank fraud, were “absurd”. Sorin Stati could be summoned to be heard by the Bank Fraud Inquiry Commission.
