Ex-Premier Ion Sturza urged the first deputy chairman of the Democratic Party Vlad Plahotniuc and the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat to withdraw from politics and leave the country. He transmitted such a message in the talks show “In Depth” on PRO TV Chisinau channel, IPN reports.
Speaking about Plahotniuc, Ion Sturza said this man built in time a matrix and manages the country from behind. “Dear Vlad, I know that you are flattered to have this title of informal leader of the Republic of Moldova. You worked a lot, but this matrix does not work. You consider that the management of the country is a personal business. You obtained the stamp and signature of the state and use them for personal interests. I ask you to withdraw and to return the country to the people. Or you can better leave the country. Throw your phones in the Geneva lake and leave!”, stated the former Prime Minister, addressing Vlad Plahotniuc.
Ion Sturza addressed a similar message to the Liberal-Democratic leader. “I have a similar message for Vlad Filat, who is a politician whom I trusted and whom I supported financially in 2009. Maybe he didn’t steal so much, but he stole our hope. It’s time for him to withdraw from politics and to leave the country,” he said.
Asked if the two shouldn’t be better brought to justice, Ion Sturza said the matrixes created by them involve many people. “So many people are involved in this misery caused by them that there won’t be enough places in jail for all of them. They should better leave. An honest and capable person supported by the people should come. This, together with 15-20 patriots, could bring things in order in the country in several weeks,” said Sturza.
