The candidate nominated for premiership Ion Sturza will submit the list of candidates for Cabinet member and the government program in the form of a letter to all the MPs on January 2. The information was confirmed for IPN by Valeriu Pasa, who is responsible for the Prime Minister’s communication with the press.
To the general public, the government program and the list of candidates for minister will be presented in a meeting with representatives of civil society on January 3. In the same event, the candidates will sign an own responsibility statement that was drawn up by experts of the NGO sector. These will declare that they haven’t been involved in the commission of offenses, tax evasion and acts of corruption, didn’t have a corruptible behavior, hadn’t been convicted and there are no criminal cases against them sent to court, and haven’t been involved in obtaining unjustified (non)patrimonial advantages and in conflicts of interests.
By signing the statement, the candidates will confirm that they didn’t break the electoral legislation and didn’t obtain votes by fraud, didn’t affront public morals when holding public posts and didn’t cooperate with intelligence services. The event will take place at the Palace of the Republic starting at 12 noon
On January 4, the candidate for premiership Ion Sturza will present the government program and the list of candidates for Cabinet member in Parliament, which will come together for a special sitting on this occasion.
